Komban is an Indian Tamil action comedy-drama film directed by M. Muthaiah. The film stars Karthi, Lakshmi Menon and Rajkiran in the lead roles. The music and background score of the movie is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar. This film is considered to be second rural based story for Karthi after his successful debut film Paruthiveeran (2007).

Critics Response: Unimpressed Behindwoods gave 2.5 stars for the song review stating "An album with already heard folk templates!". Indiaglitz also offered 2.5 stars stating "G.V’s middling form continues…". Cinecoffee music review board gave 3.25 stars mentioning "Moderately better than GV’s previous albums." in its verdict.
